Priyanka Basu Design Studio is a boutique interior design firm in the Greater Seattle area. We specialize in remodels and furnishings projects. We embrace a design philosophy focused on transforming your space into a sanctuary, harmonizing comfort and coziness with meticulous orchestration. No project is too big or small, our method places importance on the architecture of the house, the client's individuality and needs, and the designer's unique aesthetic vision.

Process Overview

Initial Discovery Call
A quick call to understand your space, needs, and overall vision.
This helps us determine if we’re the right fit and outline the next steps. While this is a 20 min complimentary call, the next phase is paid.

In-Home Consultation and Contractor Review
We visit your space for a detailed consultation, where we discuss layout, design direction, and ideas. We evaluate your space in detail and bring in our contractor to review feasibility, timelines, and considerations. This session provides both creative direction and practical clarity, and the fee is credited toward your project if you move forward.

Proposal and Scope Overview
Based on the consultation, we create a detailed proposal outlining the project scope and deliverables, our services, estimates and fees. As mentioned earlier, the fee is credited toward your project if you move forward.

Contract and Agreement
Once we determine the path forward, we will provide you with a contract and invoice before we get into the most exciting phase of design and concept development.

Design and Development
From measuring the space to creating floor plans, we will end with the the development of a concept and design plan unique to your space based on the services and scope of work. We present concept/mood boards, designs, finish selections and estimated cost helping you with budgeting.

Project Management and Delivery
We will assist with selecting the right contractor, and facilitate the estimation process. We continue to work closely to coordinate delivery, support execution by coordinating with contractors, managing progress, and overseeing installation to ensure everything comes together seamlessly.
